Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through their lifecycle.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results and investigate the causes of non-conforming software.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Coordinate with software developers to enhance the underlying architecture that supports automated testing of new system features.
- Oversee continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency in the QA process.
- Contribute to the establishment of a culture of high quality and efficiency in the software development lifecycle.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Extensive experience in software development and software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
